Booking confirmation next steps
Thanks for booking — next steps
Thanks for booking your consultation with Strivesocial.
What happens next
Julie Athanasiou will call you at the phone number you provided at the time you booked, at your scheduled appointment time.
Julie is a PEERS® Certified Provider with a Degree in Applied Science (Speech Pathology) (La Trobe University), and she brings a practical, strengths-based approach to supporting neurodivergent young people and their families.
What we’ll cover in the call
During the call, Julie will:
Ask a few questions to understand what has brought you to Strivesocial and what you’re hoping to get out of support
Gather a little background (e.g., age/stage, current challenges, what’s working well already)
Talk you through the current programs and supports that may be a good fit (individual sessions, group options, PEERS®, and other tailored pathways)
Answer any questions you have about next steps, timing, and how sessions work
If you’re using NDIS funding
If you’re NDIS-funded, it helps to quickly check your plan beforehand so you have a sense of which categories you can claim under (for example, Improved Daily Living, Improved Relationships, or Social and Community Participation).
If you’re unsure, that’s completely fine — Julie can talk it through with you during the call.
If you’re calling about your child
If you’re booking on behalf of your child/teen, it’s great if they can join the call too (even for part of it), as it helps Julie hear their goals and preferences directly.
That said, it’s also absolutely okay to attend without them — we can start with a parent/carer conversation and plan the next step from there.
Helpful to have ready (optional)
If you can, have these handy:
Your main questions or goals for support
Any relevant reports or school notes (optional)
If NDIS-funded: a quick look at your plan categories
We’re looking forward to speaking with you.
