Teens and Adults One-on-One PEERS® Program
Work with Julie Athanasiou, Certified Practising Speech Pathologist and PEERS® Certified Provider, for personalised support to build social communication, confidence, and connection. Using the evidence-based PEERS® programme as a foundation, sessions are tailored to each person’s goals, strengths, and everyday social challenges.
This one-to-one format is ideal for participants who benefit from individualised support with skills such as starting conversations, making and keeping friends, handling conflict, and building confidence in social and community settings. Parents or nominated social coaches are welcome to be involved where helpful, but this is not required.
Sessions are available via Google Meet or in person within the Melbourne region.
Age range: 11 to adult
Length: 10–14 sessions
Session duration: 45-minute sessions
NDIS: Participants may be able to use their current NDIS plan
One-on-One Friendship Bootcamp
This bootcamp focuses on the following topics within the PEERS program:
Conversation skills
Finding a source of friends
Planning and organising get togethers
Forming and maintaining friendships
Managing Conflict
Age Range: 11 to adult
Length: 2 x 3hr sessions (or format as requested)
NDIS participants may be able to use their current NDIS plan.
Minecraft PEERS® Program
Learn how to navigate the social world with one-on-one coaching that blends the evidence-based PEERS® program with the fun and familiarity of Minecraft. Designed for ages 8 and up, this modified format uses Minecraft as a tool for roleplays, helping participants practise real-life social skills in a safe, engaging environment.
Sessions are delivered by a PEERS® trainer via Google Meets. Attendance by a parent or nominated social coach (such as a teacher, friend, sibling, or carer) is encouraged but not essential. If you have particular social situations you would like to work on – for example, making friends, joining in games, handling teasing, or managing disagreements – we can tailor the program and Minecraft roleplays to your specific needs.
Age range: 8+
Length: 10-14 Sessions, depending on individual interests. (45-minute session for ages 8+)
NDIS participants may be able to use their current NDIS plan.
Dating Etiquette Bootcamp
This bootcamp focuses on the following topics within the PEERS program:
Dating etiquette
Letting someone know you like them
Choosing appropriate people to date
Asking someone on a date
Flirting appropriately
Relationship boundaries
Handling rejection
Age Range: 16+
Length: 2 x 3hr sessions (or format requested)

Transition to High School School-Based Program: Find Your Tribe in High School
Teachers, prepare your Grade 6 students for a successful transition to high school with our Find Your Tribe in High School program, conducted right in your school. Based on the PEERS® Program, this program equips students with the essential social skills they need to make good friends and navigate the challenges of high school life.
The jump from primary to high school can be daunting, especially when it comes to friendships. Our program helps ease this transition by teaching students to find their peer group, start conversations, choose healthy friendships, handle disagreements, and respond effectively to teasing and bullying. Each session is packed with practical strategies, interactive activities, and role-playing, ensuring students feel confident and ready for the next step.

Finding Your Tribe in Highschool
Parents, prepare your soon-to-be Year 7 student for a successful transition to high school with our Finding Your Tribe in High School. Based on the PEERS® Program, this program equips students with the essential social skills they need to make good friends and navigate the challenges of high school life over 6 x 45-minute sessions sessions.

PEERS® for Careers
No matter what stage of your career you are at, the PEERS® program can help you progress. Social and relationship skills are important in the workplace. Employers are looking for people who can relate to others and will promote people with good social skills over those just as qualified who don’t. The program offers one-on-one coaching in networking, small talk, and relationship building for the workplace.
Age 16+
Length: 45-minute sessions via telehalth.
